Illinois Football Recruiting: Penn State Offers Shaun Crawford

2015 cornerback/wide receiver Shaun Crawford received an offer from the Penn State Nittany Lions on March 17th. This brings his total number of offers to five.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida State, and Illinois.

It is projected that Crawford is heavily interested in the Tennessee Volunteers.

Crawford is a 5’9″, 165 pound “iron man” from Lakewood, Ohio. He is currently a sophomore at St. Edward High School.

The St. Edward Eagles made it to the Division I Ohio State Playoffs. They would lose to Mentor High School, 56-63, in the second round.

As a cornerback in 2012, Crawford recorded 66 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, three pass break-ups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recoveries. As a wide receiver in 2012, he recorded 438 yards on 24 receptions and five touchdowns.
