2014 inside linebacker Nyles Morgan received offers from the Missouri Tigers and the South Florida Bulls on March 14th. This brings his total number of offers to twenty-four.
The other teams to have offered at him include: Arizona, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Florida, Michigan State, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Purdue, Syracuse, Texas Tech, USC, Virginia Tech, Washington, and Wisconsin.
It is projected that Morgan is heavily interested in the Florida Gators, the Michigan State Spartans, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Vanderbilt Commodores.
He has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Morgan is a 6’2″, 215 pound linebacker from Crete, Illinois. He is currently a junior at Crete-Monee High School.
Crete-Monee won the state championship in the Class 6A Illinois State Playoffs. In the title game, Crete-Monee defeated Cary-Grove, 33-26.
For Illinois, Morgan is being recruited by offensive line coach, Luke Butkus. He is also being recruited by Jeff Hecklinski of Michigan, Dan Roushar of Michigan State, Chuck Martin of Notre Dame, Mike Vrabel of Ohio State, Tim Kish of Oklahoma, Aaron Moorehead of Virginia Tech, and Lester Erb of Iowa.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 3rd in the state of Illinois, 4th among inside linebackers, and 63rd nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
