Illinois Football Recruiting: Ball State Offers Chase Gianacakos

2014 offensive tackle Chase Gianacakos received an offer from the Ball State Cardinals on March 14th. This brings his total number of offers to eight.

The other teams to have offered at him include: the Bowling Green Falcons, the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Michigan State Spartans, the Kansas Jayhawks, the Toledo Rockets, Western Michigan, and the Wyoming Cowboys.

He has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Boston College Eagles,  the Michigan Wolverines, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, the Missouri Tigers, and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Gianacakos is a 6’6″, 280 pound offensive lineman from Saint Charles, Illinois. He is currently a junior at St Charles North High School.

The St Charles North North Stars finished the season with an overall record of 4-5 and a conference record of 4-2. They were ranked 182nd in the state of Illinois.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 24th in the state of Illinois and 51st among offensive tackles by 247Sports.
