The Illinois Fighting Illini were able to beat the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the first round of the Big Ten conference tournament on Thursday.
Brandon Paul became a hero as he nailed the buzzer-beater that gave the Illini the win over Minnesota. He finished the game with 25 out of Illinois’ 51 points.
