Illinois Football Recruiting: Missouri Offers Dylan Thompson

2014 strong-side defensive end Dylan Thompson received an offer from the Missouri Tigers on March 13th. This now brings his total number of offers to twelve.

The other teams that have offered at him include: Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Tennessee, Purdue, Syracuse, and Vanderbilt.

Out of his twelve offers, it is projected that Thompson is heavily interested in the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from California, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin.

Thompson is a 6’5″, 270 pound from Lombard, Illinois. He is currently a junior at Montini Catholic High School.

Montini Catholic had just a magical season in 2012.

The Broncos won the state championship of the Class 5A Illinois State Playoffs. This state championship became Montini’s fourth straight state championship.

For Illinois, Thompson is being recruited by linebackers coach, Mike Ward.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 12th in the state of Illinois and 18th among strong-side defensive ends by 247Sports.
