2014 tight end Ian Bunting received an offer from the Michigan Wolverines on March 11th. This brings his total number of offers to fifteen.
The other teams to have offered at him include: Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Purdue, and Syracuse.
It is projected that Bunting is heavily interested in the Michigan Wolverines, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Oregon Ducks, and the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Michigan State Spartans, the Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Bunting is a 6’6″, 210 pound tight end from Hinsdale, Illinois.
He is currently a junior at Hinsdale Central High School.
The Hinsdale Central Red Devils made it into the Class 8A Illinois State Playoffs. They lost to the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies, 24-28, in their first round game.
As a junior in 2012, Bunting recorded 412 receiving yards on 16 receptions and four touchdowns.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 11th in the state of Illinois and 12th among tight ends by 247Sports.
