Illinois Football Recruiting: USC Offers Brandon Simmons

2014 safety Brandon Simmons received an offer from the USC Trojans on March 10th. This brings his total number of offers to forty-one.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Texas A&M, Washington, LSU, West Virginia, Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Boise State, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Purdue, SMU, Temple, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and Virginia.

It is projected that Simmons is heavily interested in the Baylor Bears, the LSU Tigers, the Stanford Cardinal, the USC Trojans, and the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Texas Longhorns, and the Texas A&M Aggies.

Simmons is a 6’0″, 175 pound safety from Arlington, Texas. He plays for Mansfield Timberview High School.

Mansfield Timberview finished this season with an overall record of 3-7 and did not make the Texas State Playoffs.

On January 5th, Simmons was named to the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 24th in the state of Texas, 15th among safeties, and 195th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
