Illinois Football Recruiting: Jabe Burgess Visits Arkansas

2014 pro-style quarterback Jabe Burgess unofficially visited the Arkansas Razorbacks on March 10th.

Burgess has offers from only two teams. The teams to have offered on him are the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes.

It is projected that Burgess is heavily interested in Arkansas and Illinois.

Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Auburn Tigers, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Ole Miss Rebels, and the South Florida Bulls.

Burgess is a 6’3″, 195 pound quarterback from Greenwood, Arkansas. He is currently a junior at Greenwood High School.

The Greenwood Bulldogs made it to the state championship of the Class 6A Arkansas State Playoffs. They won their second consecutive state title after defeating Pine Bluff High School, 51-44.

As a junior in 2012, Burgess threw for 3,128 yards on 219 completions, thirty-six touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also went 219-of-296 on his passes this season with a completion percentage of 74%.

There are currently no rankings for this recruit by 247Sports.
