2014 pro-style quarterback Chance Stewart attended the Illinois Fighting Illini’s Junior Day on March 9th. He originally committed to the Wisconsin Badgers on August 2nd, but decommitted from them on March 5th.
Stewart has offers from three teams. The teams to have offered at him include: the Toledo Rockets, the Western Michigan Broncos, and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Although, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Bowling Green Falcons, the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Michigan State Spartans, the Purdue Boilermakers, the Michigan Wolverines, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Stewart is a 6’5″, 210 pound quarterback from Sturgis, Michigan. He is currently a junior at Sturgis High School.
The Sturgis Trojans finished the season with an overall record of 5-4 and a league record of 4-3. They were ranked 263rd in the state of Michigan.
As a junior in 2012, Stewart threw for 1,300 yards, ten touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also ran for four touchdowns.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 4th in the state of Michigan, 11th among pro-style quarterbacks, and 192nd nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
