Illinois Football Recruiting: Ben Swanton Visits Wisconsin


2015 offensive guard Ben Swanton unofficially visited the Wisconsin Badgers on March 9th. He currently does not have a single offer.

Although, he is receiving interest from the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Kansas Jayhawks, the Kansas State Wildcats, the Michigan Wolverines, the Michigan State Spartans, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, the Northern Illinois Huskies, the Northwestern Wildcats, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Oklahoma Sooners, the Pittsburgh Panthers, the Princeton Tigers, the West Virginia Mountaineers, and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Swanton is a 6’0″, 250 pound offensive guard from De Forest, Wisconsin. He is currently a sophomore at De Forest High School.

The De Forest Norskies made it to the Division 2 Wisconsin State Playoffs. However, they lost to Waunakee High School, 7-34, in their second round game.

Swanton has visited Princeton, Michigan State, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Kansas, Northwestern, and Iowa.

For Illinois, Swanton is being recruited by head coach, Tim Beckman.
