Football Recruiting: Adam Bertke Visits Illinois

2014 pro-style quarterback Adam Bertke attended the Illinois Fighting Illini’s Junior Day on March 9th.

Bertke has offers from two teams. The teams to have offered at him are the Toledo Rockets and the Illinois Fighting Illini.

Although, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Cincinnati Bearcats, the Indiana Hoosiers, the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Iowa State Cyclones, the Kansas Jayhawks, the Miami Redhawks, the Michigan Wolverines, the Michigan State Spartans, the Northwestern Wildcats, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Bertke is a 6’5″, 200 pound quarterback from Maria Stein, Ohio.

He is currently a junior at Marion Local High School.

Marion Local made it into the Ohio State Playoffs (Division VI). They defeated Newark Catholic to win the Division VI state title, 28-21.

Bertke is being recruited by Brian Ferentz of Iowa, Mike Tressel of Michigan State, and Dave Aranda of Wisconsin.

Bertke also plays basketball at Marion Local.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 13th in the state of Ohio, 12th among pro-style quarterbacks, and 246th overall in the Class of 2014 by 247Sports.
