Cincinnati Football Recruiting: Nick Allegretti Visits Illinois

2014 center Nick Allegretti attended the Illinois Fighting Illini’s Junior Day on March 9th. This was his second trip to Champaign as he unofficially visited Illinois on September 22nd, 2012.

Allegretti has offers from four teams. The teams to have offered at him include: the Cincinnati Bearcats, the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Northern Illinois Huskies, and the Toledo Rockets.

Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Boston College Eagles, the Indiana Hoosiers, the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Michigan Wolverines, the Michigan State Spartans, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, the Northwestern Wildcats, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Stanford Cardinal, the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Western Michigan Broncos, and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Allegretti is a 6’4″, 280 pound offensive lineman from Frankfort, Illinois. He is currently a junior at Lincoln-Way East High School.

The Lincoln-Way East Griffins made it to the state championship of the Class 7A Illinois State Playoffs. However, they would lose to Glenbard West High School, 10-8.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 22nd in the state of Illinois and 8th among centers (football) by 247Sports.
