2014 offensive tackle Roderick Johnson received an offer from the Oklahoma Sooners on March 7th. This brings his total number of offers to nine.
The other teams to have offered at him include: Alabama, Missouri, Florida State, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
It is projected that Johnson is heavily interested in the Missouri Tigers.
Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Illinois Fighting Illini.
Johnson is a 6’7″, 310 pound offensive tackle from Florissant, Missouri. He played this past season at Hazelwood Central High School.
Hazelwood Central made it into the Class 6 Missouri State Playoffs. They made it to the second round, but lost to DeSmet Jesuit, 30-40.
Johnson is being recruited by Cornell Ford of Missouri, Eric Johnson of Iowa, Kerry Coombs of Michigan State, and Bill Bedenbaugh of Oklahoma.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 2nd in the state of Missouri, 8th among offensive tackles, and 84th nationally among 2013 high school recruits by 247Sports.
