2014 wide receiver Derek Kief received offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Wisconsin Badgers, and the West Virginia Mountaineers on March 7th. This brings his total number of offers to fifteen.
The other teams to have offered at him include: Boston College, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Kent State, Kentucky, Maryland, Northwestern, Ohio State, Toledo, and Vanderbilt.
Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Louisville Cardinals, the Michigan Wolverines, the Pittsburgh Panthers, and the Purdue Boilermakers.
Kief is a 6’5″, 185 pound wide receiver from Cincinnati, Ohio.
He is currently a junior at LaSalle High School.
The LaSalle Lancers finished 4-6 this past season and did not make it to the Ohio State Playoffs.
As a junior this season, Kief recorded 907 receiving yards on 65 receptions and nine receiving touchdowns.
Kief is being recruited by Randy Bates of Northwestern, Zach Smith of Ohio State, and Chris Beatty of Wisconsin.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 4th in the state of Ohio, 14th among wide receivers, and 111th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
