2014 wide receiver Kenny Jones received an offer from the Illinois Fighting Illini on March 6th. This brings his total number of offers to three.
The other teams to have offered at him are the Indiana Hoosiers and the Louisville Cardinals.
It is projected that Jones is heavily interested in the Indiana Hoosiers.
Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Kentucky Wildcats.
Jones is a 6’2″, 175 pounds wide receiver from Indianapolis, Indiana.
He is currently a junior at Lawrence Central High School.
The Lawrence Central Bears made it to the state championship game of the Class 5A Indiana State Playoffs. It was in that championship game where the Bears beat Snider High School, 39-14, for the 2012 Class 5A State Championship.
As a junior in 2012, Jones recorded 447 receiving yards on 14 carries and four touchdowns.
For Illinois, Jones is being recruited by defensive coordinator, Tim Banks. He is also being recruited by Vance Bedford of Louisville and Kevin Johns of Indiana.
