Illinois Football Recruiting: Georgia Tech Offers Chris James

2014 running back Chris James received an offer from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on March 2nd. This brings his total number of offers to seven.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Toledo, and Western Michigan.

Although, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Michigan State Spartans, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Oklahoma Sooners, the Purdue Boilermakers, and the Wisconsin Badgers.

James is a 5’10″, 200 pound running back from Niles, Illinois. He is currently a junior at Notre Dame High School.

The Notre Dame Dons made it to the Class 6A Illinois State Playoffs. They lost to Lake Forest High School, 31-19, in their quarterfinal game.

For Illinois, James is being recruited by offensive line coach, Luke Butkus.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 16th in the state of Illinois and 36th among running backs by 247Sports.
