2014 defensive tackle Michael Barwick visited the Indiana Hoosiers on March 2nd. He was attending the team’s Junior Day.
This is the second Junior Day he has attended so far. On February 21st, Barwick attended Purdue’s Junior Day.
Barwick has offers from three teams. The teams to have offered at him are the Bowling Green Falcons, the Indiana Hoosiers, and the Western Michigan Broncos.
He has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Boston College Eagles, the Cincinnati Bearcats, the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Louisville Cardinals, the Miami (OH) Redhawks, the Michigan Wolverines, the Northwestern Wildcats, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Barwick is a 6’3″, 270 pound defensive lineman from Cincinnati, Ohio.
He is currently a junior at The Summit Country Day School.
The Summit Country Day Silver Knights made it to the Division V Ohio State Playoffs. They lost to Covington High School, 14-58, in their second round game.
As a junior in 2012, Barwick recorded 75 tackles, 15 tackles-for-loss, ten sacks, and five fumble recoveries.
He is being recruited by Shawn Watson of Louisville and Mark Smith of Michigan.
