Illinois Football Recruiting: Justin Jackson Visits Indiana


2014 all purpose running back Justin Jackson unofficially visited the Indiana Hoosiers on March 2nd.

Jackson has offers from ten teams. The teams to have offered at him include: Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern, Boston College, Indiana, Purdue, Syracuse, Toledo, and Vanderbilt.

It is projected that Jackson is heavily interested in the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Northwestern Wildcats.

Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Wisconsin.

Jackson is a 5’11″, 180 pound running back from Carol Stream, Illinois.

He is currently a junior at Glenbard North High School.

The Glenbard North Panthers made it all the way to the state championship of the Class 8A Illinois State Playoffs. They lost to the Mount Carmel Caravan, 14-28, in the state championship game.

As a junior in 2012, Jackson recorded 2,612 rushing yards on 421 carries and 35 rushing touchdowns. He also recorded 284 receiving yards on 19 receptions and two receiving touchdowns. He was named the Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year and was a First-Team All-State Selection in 2012.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 5th in the state of Illinois, 4th among all purpose running backs, and 170th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
