Illinois Football Recruiting: Drue Tranquill Visits Cincinnati and Indiana

2014 safety/outside linebacker Drue Tranquill visited the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Indiana Hoosiers on March 2nd. His visit to Cincinnati was an unofficial visit and he visited Indiana for their Junior Day.

At this point in time, Tranquill does not have an offer from a single team.

Although, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Cincinnati Bearcats, the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Indiana Hoosiers, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Purdue Boilermakers.

Tranquill is a 6’2″, 200 pound safety from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is currently a junior at Carroll High School.

The Carroll Chargers made it to the Class 5A Indiana State Playoffs. They made it to the quarterfinals, but lost to Merrillville High School, 21-50.

As a junior in 2012, Tranquill recorded 40 tackles, seven tackles-for-loss, and one interception.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 7th in the state of Indiana and 59th among safeties by 247Sports.
