Illinois Football Recruiting: Purdue Offers DeShone Kizer

2014 dual-threat quarterback DeShone Kizer received an offer from the Purdue Boilermakers on February 26th. This brings his total number of offers to fifteen.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Louisville, Michigan State, Nebraska, Arkansas, Boston College, Bowling Green, Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Syracuse, Tennessee, and Toledo.

Out of his fifteen offers, it is projected that Kizer is heavily interested in the Louisville Cardinals, the Kentucky Wildcats, the Michigan State Spartans, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Kizer is a 6’5″, 207 pound dual-threat quarterback from Toledo, Ohio.

He is currently a junior at Central Catholic High School.

The Central Catholic Fighting Irish made it to the Division II Ohio State Playoffs. They defeated Trotwood-Madison High School, 16-12, to win the state championship.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 17th in the state of Ohio and 7th among dual-threat quarterbacks by 247Sports.
