Illinois Football Recruiting: Wake Forest and Clemson Offer Marcus Allen

2014 safety Marcus Allen received offers from the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the Clemson Tigers on February 21st and February 23rd. This brings his total number of offers to thirteen.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Maryland, North Carolina State, Northwestern, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Old Dominion, and Vanderbilt.

It is projected that Allen is heavily interested in the Maryland Terrapins and the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Allen is a 6’1″, 180 pound defensive back from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He is currently a junior at Wise High School.

The Wise Pumas made it into the Class 4A Mayland State Playoffs. The Pumas went all the way to win the championship over Quince Orchard High School, 21-7.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 7th in the state of Maryland and 23rd among safeties of 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
