Illinois Football Recruiting: Nebraska Offers Sam Mustipher

2014 defensive tackle/offensive guard Sam Mustipher received an offer from the Nebraska Cornhuskers on February 14th. This brings his total number of offers to twenty-two.

The other teams that have offered at him include: Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Northwestern, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Tennessee, Tulane, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Mustipher is a 6’4″, 285 pound “iron man,” but is being recruited as an offensive guard.

He is from Olney, Maryland and played this past season at Our Lady of Good Counsel high School.

Good Counsel made it to the WCAC Football Championship and defeated DeMatha High School, 26-14.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 5th in the state of Maryland, 11th among offensive guards, and 199th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
