Illinois Football Recruiting: Michigan State Offers Enoch Smith Jr.

On his February 12th visit to East Lansing, 2014 defensive tackle Enoch Smith Jr. received an offer from the Michigan State Spartans. This brings his total number of offers to eleven.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina State, Northern Illinois, Purdue, Toledo, and Western Michigan.

Out of those ten offers, it is projected that Smith is heavily interested in the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Smith Jr. is a 6’3″, 270 pound defensive tackle from Chicago, Illinois.

He is currently a junior at Mount Carmel High School.

Mount Carmel won the Class 8A Illinois State Championship. They defeated Glenbard North High School, 28-14.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 9th in the state of Illinois and 19th among defensive tackles by 247Sports.
