Illinois Football Recruiting: Maryland Offers Mikale Wilbon

2014 running back Mikale Wilbon received an offer from the Maryland Terrapins on February 7th. This brings his total number of offers to seven.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Arizona State, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Mississippi State, and Purdue.

Wilbon is a 5’9″, 195 pound running back from Chicago, Illinois. He is currently a junior at De La Salle Institute.

The De La Salle Meteors finished with a record of 4-5 overall and 4th in the Chicago Catholic – White. They did not make the Illinois State Playoffs.

As a junior this season, Wilbon recorded 863 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 4th in the state of Illinois, 12th among running backs, and 152nd nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
