2014 offensive tackle Andy Bauer received an offer from the California Golden Bears on February 6th. This brings his total number of offers to thirty-four.
The other teams to have offered at him include: Alabama, LSU, Arkansas, Florida, Oklahoma, Missouri, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, Boston College, Florida State, Illinois, Kansas State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Washington, and West Virginia.
It is projected that the Alabama Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers are leading the pack.
Bauer is a 6’5″, 304 pound offensive lineman from Saint Louis, Missouri. He is currently a junior at DeSmet Jesuit High School.
DeSmet Jesuit made it into the semifinals of the Class 6 Missouri State Playoffs, but lost to Blue Springs, 7-42.
Bauer was named a Second Team All-American by 247 Sports on February 10th.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 1st in the state of Missouri, 8th among offensive tackles, and 83rd nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
