Illinois Basketball Recruiting: Paul White Visits DePaul

2014 forward Paul White unofficially visited the DePaul Blue Demons on February 2nd. DePaul played the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and lost in overtime, 71-79.

White has offers from fourteen teams. These teams include: Arizona, DePaul, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Marquette, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, and Wisconsin.

He is a 6’9″, 195 pound forward from Chicago, Illinois. He is currently a junior at Whitney Young High School.

The Whitney Young Dolphins are 18-3 overall this season. They lost their last game to Orr High School, 47-50.

White can score from range (up to 17 feet) as well as down in the low post. On top of that, he is an excellent passer.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 4th in the state of Illinois, 13th among small forwards, and 48th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
