West Virginia Football Recruiting: Paul James Commits to Illinois

2013 defensive end Paul James committed to the Illinois Fighting Illini on January 30th.

He has offers from sixteen teams. These teams include: West Virginia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Marshall, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Tulane, Western Kentucky, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Miami (FL), and Central Florida.

James is a 6’2″, 240 pound defensive lineman from Miami, Florida. He played this past season at Norland High School.

The Norland Vikings made it to the Class 5A Florida State Playoffs. They lost to Jackson High School, 21-30, in the second round.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 100th in the state of Florida and 30thth among weak-side defensive ends by 247Sports.

After this commitment, Illinois has twenty-one commitments with still one day before National Signing Day on Wednesday, February 6th.
