Illinois Football Recruiting: Michigan Visits Kyle Berger

Michigan’s defensive coordinator Greg Mattison visited 2014 outside linebacker Kyle Berger on February 2nd.

Berger has offers from ten teams. These teams include: Ohio State, Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

It is projected that he is heavily interested in the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Berger is a 6’3″, 205 pound linebacker from Cleveland, Ohio. He is currently a junior at St. Ignatius High School.

St. Ignatius made it into the Division I Ohio State Playoffs. They lost to Mentor, 56-57, in their quarterfinal game.

As a junior, Berger recorded 44 tackles-for-loss and ten sacks.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 19th in the state of Ohio and 22nd among outside linebackers among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
