Illinois Football Recruiting: Georgia and Ole Miss Visit Laremy Tunsil

Georgia’s head coach Mark Richt and Ole Miss’ head coach Hugh Freeze visited 2013 offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil on January 30th and 31st.

Tunsil has offers from nineteen teams. These teams include: Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Miami (FL), Michigan, Oklahoma, Purdue, South Carolina, South Florida, USC, Auburn, LSU, and Notre Dame.

Out of those nineteen offers, it is projected that Tunsil is heavily interested in the Georgia Bulldogs, the Ole Miss Rebels, and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Tunsil is a 6’6″, 295 offensive tackle from Lake City, Florida. He played this past season at Columbia High School.

Columbia made it into the Class 6A Florida State Playoffs.

They made it to the quarterfinals, but lost to Navarre High School, 21-28.

Tunsil’s biggest trait is his pass blocking. He has the height and the arm length to be successful at the college level.

The five-star recruit is currently ranked 1st in the state of Florida, 1st among offensive tackles, and 3rd nationally among 2013 high school recruits by 247Sports.

Laremy Tunsil plans to announce his college decision on ESPNU on national signing day at 8:35 a.m. (CST).
