Illinois Football Recruiting: Ohio State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Michigan State Visit Drew Barker

This week, coaches from Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, and South Carolina payed visits to 2014 quarterback Drew Barker.

Barker has offers from ten teams. The teams to have offered at him include: Kentucky, South Carolina, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, North Carolina, Purdue, Tennessee, and Western Kentucky.

Out of those ten offers, it is projected that Barker is heavily interested in the Kentucky Wildcats and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Barker is a 6’4″, 210 pound pro-style quarterback from Hebron, Kentucky. He is currently a junior at Conner High School.

Conner made it into the Class 5A Kentucky State Playoffs. They lost in the second round to Franklin County, 59-62.

As a junior in 2012, Barker recorded 2,072 passing yards, 22 passing touchdowns, 1,455 rushing yards, and 18 rushing touchdowns.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 1st in the state of Kentucky, 6th among pro-style quarterbacks, and 94th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
