Illinois Football Recruiting: Michigan’s Brady Hoke Visits Montae Nicholson

Nicholson has offers from twelve teams. These teams include: Bowling Green, Florida State, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Temple, Texas Tech, Toledo, and West Virginia.

Nicholson is a 6’3″, 200 pound safety from Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

He is currently a junior at Gateway High School.

The Gateway Gators finished the season with an overall record of 9-2 and a league record of 8-0.

As a defensive back, Nicholson recorded 28 tackles, two interceptions (both returned for touchdowns), two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. As a wide receiver, he caught 25 passes for 653 yards and six touchdowns.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 3rd in the state of Pennsylvania, 16th among safeties, and 185th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
