Illinois Football Recruiting: Boston College and Maryland Offer Kyle Berger

2014 outside linebacker Kyle Berger received offers from the Boston College Eagles and the Maryland Terrapins this week. This brings his total number of offers to ten.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Ohio State, Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

It is projected that he is heavily interested in the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Berger is a 6’3″, 205 pound linebacker from Cleveland, Ohio. He is currently a junior at St. Ignatius High School.

St. Ignatius made it into the Division I Ohio State Playoffs. They lost to Mentor, 56-57, in their quarterfinal game.

As a junior, Berger recorded 44 tackles-for-loss and ten sacks.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 19th in the state of Ohio and 22nd among outside linebackers among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
