Notre Dame’s head coach Brian Kelly visited 2014 recruit Jamarco Jones on January 28th.
Jones has offers from seventeen teams. These teams include: Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Purdue, Tennessee, Toledo, Vanderbilt, and Wisconsin.
Out of those seventeen offers, it is projected that Jones is heavily interested in the Florida Gators, the Michigan Wolverines, the Michigan State Spartans, the Northwestern Wildcats, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Vanderbilt Commodores, and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Jones is a 6’6″, 290 pound from Chicago, Illinois. He played this past season at De La Salle Institute.
De La Salle Institute finished with a record of 4-5 overall and 4th in the Chicago Catholic – White. They did not make the Illinois State Playoffs.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 2nd in the state of Illinois, 4th among offensive tackles, and 47th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
