2013 offensive tackle Chongo Kondolo could still affect the Illinois Fighting Illini even though it is projected that he has no interest in them. This is because there is one Big Ten team trying to land the California recruit. That Big Ten team is the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
On January 25th, Kondolo officially visited the Utah State Aggies.
He currently has offers from fifteen teams. These teams include: Nebraska, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida State, Utah State, BYU, Illinois, Colorado State, Fresno State, Grambling State, Maryland, Nevada, Oklahoma, Syracuse, and Texas State.
Out of those fifteen offers, he is heavily interested in Nebraska, Utah State, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
Kondolo is a 6’4″, 290 pound offensive lineman from Fresno, California. He played this past season at Fresno City College.
Chongo Kondolo currently has three years or two seasons of eligibility left. This means that he still has a redshirt year available.
The three-star recruit is currently ranked 29th in the state of California, 6th among offensive tackles, and 102nd nationally among 2013 junior college recruits by 247Sports.
