Illinois Football Recruiting: Indiana Offers Ian Bunting

2014 wide receiver/tight end Ian Bunting received an offer from the Indiana Hoosiers on January 27th while attending the Hoosier’s junior day. This now brings his total number of offers to four.

The other teams to have offered at him include: the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Illinois Fighting Illini, and the Purdue Boilermakers.

Bunting is a 6’6″, 210 pound wide receiver (what he is being recruited for) from Hinsdale, Illinois.

He is currently a junior at Hinsdale Central High School.

Hinsdale Central made it into the Class 8A Illinois State Playoffs. They lost to the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies, 24-28, in their first round game.

As a junior in 2012, Bunting recorded 412 receiving yards on 16 receptions and four touchdowns.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 13th in the state of Illinois and 58th among wide receivers by 247Sports.
