Illinois Football Recruiting: Michigan State's Mark Dantonio Visits DeShone Kizer

Michigan State’s head coach Mark Dantonio visited 2014 recruit DeShone Kizer on January 24th.

Kizer has offers from ten teams. These teams include: Louisville, Michigan State, Nebraska, Boston College, Bowling Green, Illinois, Kentucky, Penn State, Syracuse, and Toledo.

Out of those ten offers, it is projected that he is heavily interested in the Louisville Cardinals, the Michigan State Spartans, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Kizer is a 6’5″, 207 pound dual-threat quarterback from Toledo, Ohio.

He is currently a junior at Central Catholic High School.

Central Catholic made it to the Division II Ohio State Playoffs. They defeated Trotwood-Madison, 16-12, to win the state championship.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 17th in the state of Ohio and 7th among dual-threat quarterbacks among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
