Illinois Basketball Recruiting: Elijah Thomas Visits Arizona

2015 power forward Elijah Thomas unofficially visited the Arizona Wildcats for their game on January 24th. #6 Arizona lost to UCLA, 73-84.

Thomas has offers from ten teams. These teams include: Arizona, Baylor, California, Illinois, Texas A&M, Massachusetts, North Texas, Oklahoma, SMU, and TCU.

Out of those ten offers, it is projected that Thomas is heavily interested in the Arizona Wildcats, the Baylor Bears, the California Golden Bears, the Illinois Fighting Illini, and the Texas A&M Aggies.

Thomas is a 6’9″, 250 pound power forward from Rockwall, Texas. He is currently a sophomore at Prime Prep Academy.

Prime Prep is currently 18-0 on the season.

In their last game, they defeated to Wayne High School, 77-61.

Elijah Thomas is a force to be reckoned with in the paint. He can score in the paint and he can rebound in the paint. He has great hands and can score with either one.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 3rd in the state of Texas, 2nd among power forwards, and 13th nationally among 2015 high school recruits by 247Sports.
