2013 athlete Ryan Timmons received an offer from the Ohio State Buckeyes on January 23rd. This now brings his total number of offers to twelve.
The other teams that have offered at Timmons include: Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, Illinois, Purdue, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Louisiana Tech, Toledo, West Virginia, and Western Kentucky.
Out of those twelve offers, it is projected that Timmons is only interested in Kentucky, Ohio State, Florida, and Illinois.
Timmons is a 5’11″, 180 pound running back from Frankfort, Kentucky.
He played this past season at Franklin County High School.
The Franklin County Flyers made it into the Class 5A Kentucky State Playoffs with a 12-1 overall record. They would lose to Copper High School, 27-40, in the quarterfinals.
As a senior in 2012, Timmons ran for 1,260 yards on 72 carries with 25 touchdowns. He also caught 29 passes for 970 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Timmons is a very versatile weapon for any college offense. He is a very effective runner, but could also be used as a receiver. This is because he has the skills to play in the slot or be used as a vertical threat.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 4th in the state of Kentucky and 24th among running backs by 247Sports.
Timmons has a scheduled official visit set for February 1st with the Floria Gators.
