Illinois Football Recruiting: Iowa Offers Clifton Garrett

2014 inside linebacker Clifton Garrett received an offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes at an unofficial visit on January 20th. This now brings his total number of offers to twelve.

The other teams that have offered at Garrett include: Notre Dame, Ohio State, Arizona State, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Wisconsin.

Garrett is a 6’2″, 215 pound linebacker from Plainfield, Illinois.

He played this past season at Plainfield South High School.

The Plainfield South Cougars did not make the Illinois State Playoffs. They finished the season with a 4-5 record this past season.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 1st in the state of Illinois, 2nd among outside linebackers, and 39th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
