Illinois Football Recruiting: Florida Offers Damien Harris

2015 running back Damien Harris received an offer from the Florida Gators on January 21st. This now brings his total number of offers to nine.

The other teams that have offered at Harris include: Michigan, Ohio State, Fresno State, Illinois, Kentucky, Syracuse, Tennessee, and Wake Forest.

Harris is a 5’9″, 197 pound running back from Berea, Kentucky. He is currently a sophomore at Madison Southern High School.

The Madison Southern Eagles made it to the Class 5A Kentucky State playoffs.

After winning by one-point in their first round game, they lost to Harlan County High School in the second round, 24-41.

As a sophomore in 2012, Harris ran for 1,778 yards on 144 attempts and 35 touchdowns.
