Illinois Football Recruiting: Arkansas Offers D.J. Dean

2013 athlete D.J. Dean received an offer from the Arkansas Razorbacks on January 21st. This now brings his total number of offers to thirteen.

Dean originally committed to the Utah Utes, but decommitted from Utah on January 17th.

He has offers from Arkansas, North Texas, Illinois, SMU, Texas State, Utah, Arkansas State, Central Arkansas, McNeese State, Stephen F. Austin, Texas-San Antonio, Tulane, and Washington State.

Dean is a 5’10″, 180 pound cornerback/quarterback from Newton, Texas.

He is currently a senior at Newton High School.

The Newton Eagles made it to the Conference 2A Division 1 Texas State Playoffs. They made it all the way to the semi-finals, but lost to Cameron Yoe, 22-39.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 159th in the state of Texas and 70th among athletes by 247Sports.
