Illinois Fighting Illini in the NFL: Conference Championship Weekend

Only three former Illinois Fighting Illini players made it to the NFC and AFC Conference Championships.

In the Conference Championship round, there were two games and here is how Illinois’ former players fared.

Brandon Lloyd, WR, New England Patriots - In the loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Lloyd was targeted fourteen times, but only caught seven passes for 70 yards.

A.J. Jenkins, WR, San Francisco 49ers – Jenkins did not caught a single pass in the win over the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Conference Championship.

Tavon Wilson, FS, New England Patriots -Tavon Wilson did not record a single tackle in the 13-28 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Conference Championship.
