Illinois Football Recruiting: Notre Dame Offers Sam Mustipher

2014 defensive tackle/offensive guard Sam Mustipher received an offer from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on January 19th. This now brings his total number of offers to fourteen.

The other teams that have offered at Mustipher include: Michigan, Clemson, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Tulane, and West Virginia.

Mustipher is a 6’4″, 285 pound “iron man,” but is being recruited as an offensive guard. He is from Olney, Maryland and played this past season at Our Lady of Good Counsel high School.

Good Counsel made it to the WCAC Football Championship and defeated DeMatha High School, 26-14.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 5th in the state of Maryland, 11th among offensive guards, and 199th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
