Illinois Football Recruiting: Eric Mayes Visits South Florida

2013 weak-side defensive end Eric Mayes officially visited the South Florida Bulls on January 18th.

He has offers from twelve teams. These teams include: Missouri, South Florida, Marshall, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Minnesota, Purdue, Tulane, Western Kentucky, and Western Michigan.

Mayes is a 6’4″, 240 pound defensive end from Sarasota, Florida.

He played this past season at Booker High School.

Booker finished the season with a record of 3-8 and did not make the Florida State Playoffs.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 199th in the state of Florida and 62th among weak-side defensive ends by 247Sports.
