2013 quarterback Todd Porter received an offer from the Western Illinois Leathernecks on January 15th. Porter named the Indiana State Sycamores a leader on January 15th as well.
This now brings his total number of offers to fourteen.
The other teams to have offered at him include: Florida Atlantic, Furman, Indiana State, North Carolina A&T, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, Presbyterian, South Dakota, Southern Illinois, Tennessee State, Tennessee-Martin, Texas Southern, and Western Kentucky.
Porter is a 6’3″, 185 pound pro-style quarterback from O’Fallon, Illinois.
He played this past season at O’Fallon High School.
O’Fallon made it to the Class 8A Illinois State Playoffs. However, Lyons Township defeated O’Fallon in the second round, 42-27.
In 2012, Porter threw for 3,009 yards and completed 209 out of 342 passes. He threw 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions (2:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio).
