Illinois Football Recruiting: Darius West Visits Ohio State

2014 safety Darius West unofficially visited the Ohio State Buckeyes on January 13th.

He has offers from eight teams. These teams include: Akron, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Purdue, and Toledo.

West is a 6’0″, 195 pound defensive back from Lima, Ohio. He is currently a junior at Lima Central Catholic High School.

Lima Central Catholic made it to the Division V Ohio State Playoffs. However, they lost to Liberty-Benton, 17-24, in the second round.

As a junior, he recorded 47 tackles, five interceptions, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 12th in the state of Ohio, 20th among safeties, and 212th nationally among 2014  high school recruits by 247Sports.
