Illinois Football Recruiting: Arkansas’ Charlie Partridge Visits Monty Nelson

On January 11th, Arkansas’ defensive line coach, Charlie Partridge, visited Monty Nelson.

Nelson has offers from fourteen teams. These teams include: Arkansas, Indiana, Louisville, Missouri, Ole Miss, Florida Atlantic, Illinois, Michigan State, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Wake Forest, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Nelson is a 6’2″, 310 pound defensive tackle for Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He played this past season at Plantation High School.

Plantation made it into the Class7A Florida State Playoffs and lost to Central High School in the Regional Semifinals.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 139th in the state of Florida and 56th among defensive tackles by 247Sports.
