2013 wide receiver Shelton Gibson officially visited the Ohio State Buckeyes on January 11th.
He has offers from seventeen teams. These teams include: Ohio State, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn, Bowling Green, California, Duke, East Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, and Vanderbilt.
Gibson is a 5’10″, 173 pound wide receiver from Cleveland, Ohio. He played this past season at Cleveland Heights High School.
Cleveland Heights finished the season with an overall 8-2 record, but did not get into the Ohio State Playoffs. Cleveland Heights took the OHSAA to court because the OHSAA did nothing after John F. Kennedy High School forfeited a game in which they had won.
However, the courts ruled in favor of the OHSAA and Cleveland Heights did not make the playoffs.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 14th in the state of Ohio, 26th among wide receivers, and 244th nationally among 2013 high school recruits by 247Sports.
