Jones committed to Illinois on June 29th, 2012, but has not signed his letter of intent.

He is a 6’2″, 200 pound safety from Walled Lake, Michigan. He played this past season at Walled Lake Western High School.

Walled Lake Western made it to the quarterfinals of the Division 2 Michigan State Playoffs. However, they lost to eventual state champion, Brother Rice, 12-42.

As a senior in 2012, Jones recorded 95 tackles and five interceptions.

The two-star recruit is currently ranked 41st in the state of Michigan and 150th among safeties by 247Sports.
