Illinois Football Recruiting: James Clark Visits Florida

2013 wide receiver James Clark unofficially visited the Florida Gator on January 6th.

Clark has offers from eighteen teams. These teams include: Florida, Clemson, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, Auburn, Duke, Florida International, Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky, Miami (FL), Mississippi State, Penn State, Rutgers, Tennessee, Central Florida, and Vanderbilt.

Clark is a 5’10″, 170 pound wide receiver from New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He played this past season at New Smyrna Beach High School.

New Smyrna Beach made it into the Class 6A Florida State Playoffs. However, they lost to Winter Haven in the first round, 24-20.

Clark is highly-regarded for the traits in which he brings to the table. He has great hands, great speed, great route-running ability, and is able to rack up numerous yards after the catch.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 25th in the state of Florida, 21st among wide receivers, and 178th nationally among 2013 high school recruits by 247Sports.
